Rear unit blows hot air while front unit operates normally.

There are blend doors that control the rear air it sounds like one of them is not working here sia guide to help you see how to replace one and diagrams below to show you how on your car

I had this problem it was the control head needed to be replaced and reprogrammed cost me $430.00 FYI
