I TRIED TO REMOVE AND REPLACE THE WIPER BLADE AND I LIFTED THE ARM AND IT LOCKED IN A RAISED POSITION AND I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO GET IT BACK DOWN

While holding the wiper arm fiemly with one hand (so it does not spring back and hit the windshield) firmly push on arm towards the windshield.
