Hello,

The right side mirror hit the side of garage. It popped loose with a little scratch. Nothing seems broken and the power mirror works fine.
I am unable to push the plastic cap back to the casing. Is there any special way or tool I need to fix it?

Removed the mirror.
Found a pin was slip off the axis. Bent and pushed it back in. Still not able to pop it back.
Get to my favorite body shop. The guy popped it back in after 5 minutes of trying. Cost me just $20.
I think the dealer is unlikely to fix the pin for me. The replacement of parts only is $600.
Thanks a lot for your advise.
