There is cream gunk/residue on the inside of the oil filler cap.
I cleaned the area, ran the engine until warm and d checked the area again, the residue/gunk was their again.

I then checked the dip stick for oil contamination non was visible the oil looked quite clear.

Do i have anyting to worry about?

Hello

Well, does it have a slight yellow tint to it?

I have a ML320 and it does the same thing. so far just in the winter.

From what I understand it is due to the moisture or from the condensation. The engines are pretty tight, the heating up the cool outside

As long as you are not loosing any coolant, no white smoke out the back, when you change the oil it looks okay I think you are okay.

I am currently going to change my oil filter every 1000 miles a couple of times to see if that makes a difference.

By not unless you have the other symptoms, I believe you are okay.
