When I have the brakes done how do I turn the
Need brakes command off? And does this car use brake pads on rear or shoes?

The brakes on the rear are pads for disk brakes. Also the brake warning is actually a sensor that mounts into the pad. When the pads are replaced the brake sensors need to be replaced as well. This will turn off the warning.
