I have a 1998 C280. I have two problems:
(1) The (single arm) wiper stalls. When turned on, it makes staggered motion. Sometimes it even stops for a few minutes anywhere in the middle and then continues. One garage quoted about $700 to repair it.
(2) Sometimes (not always, but randomly) when the key is turned on, the engine will crank but will shut down right away. It keeps doing like that on each attempt unti
I take the key out and turn it around or I wait several seconds and then start the engine. It then ignites and runs fine. The dealer changed the ignition part, but the story is still the same.
I would appreciate your advice on theses problems. I thank you in advance for your time in this matter.
