1997 Mercedes Benz C280 won't shift when cold

This car won't shift into 2nd gear when could, after it warms up it shifts but you can tell it slips it doesn't shift immediately into 2nd. Any pros. Out there.

Hi there,

I feel that it is a problem with a sticking shift valve with in the transmission, If the trans has not been serviced of late I would have that done and may be get the line pressures tested first.
