Engine Performance problem
1994 Mercedes Benz C280 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

Dear sir,

What can be the reason of high fuel consuption and low engine performance, car has been computer diagnosed and all seems to be fine no any errors, however engine is consuming about 16-17 lrs per 100 km and engine torque is not same as before

I think that problem is an old oxygen sensor which still is working but not properly

Well merab, it looks like you do have something going on here. You stated that the vechicle was scanned/diagnosed and nothing wrong was found. Something is wrong somewhere, it maybe bad o2 or failing maf sensor, fuel pump, egr stuck, etc. The best thing to do would to bring it to a mercedes dealer and just have them diagnose the problem. Mercedes have their own diag equipment, if you use something like a snap on scanner or equivilent, they will not tell you the same things as the mercedes diag equip. I would recommend you bring it to a dealer and get a further assessment. Good luck
