2004 Mercedes Benz C240 belt tension

How do I set or losen the belt tension so that I can replace the alternator.

The belt tensioner is an automatic tensioner. The tension can be remove by using a wrench on the nut of the tensioner pulley. USe a longer wrench as it will give you better leverage. Let me know if you need any further details.
