My vehicle occasionally will not start. When I turn the key the car will continue to crank and not start and after a few tries the car will turn over and start. The check engine goes on and then after a while will shut off.I have had it to my mechanic and cannot figure out what the problem is. HELP!!
Thanking you in advance

This sounds like you may be having an intermittent issue with your crankshaft position sensor. This sensor if faulty will cause your vehicle to not start, and stall. Also I have seen one other issue with this particular vehicle involving oil leaking into the wiring harness. I would recommend disconnecting a few electrical connectors on your motor with the keys out of the vehicle. If you see any traces of oil in the electrical connectors then this is definately your problem and this will require replacing affected sensors and the wiring harness.
