PLEASE HELP!
I BOUGHT A MERCEDES COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO AND NOW I GOT A FEW PROBLEMS WITH IT.
A/C DON'T WORK, CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, SRS LIGHT.
I ASKED THEM TO CHECK IT OUT.
ADVISOR CALLED AND GAVE ME A RIDICULOUS ESTIMATES ON THE STUFF WHICH IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY (CHECK ENGINE (BECAUSE OF AFTER MARKET EXHAUST AND AIR FILTER), A/C (OUTSIDE HOLE IN CONDENSER), AND BRAKES. I AM COLLEGE STUDENT AND CANNOT AFFORD THAT. THEY ARE TELLING I HAVE TO PAY OVER A $1000 FOR DIAGNOSTICS. I CAN'T. PLEASE HELP AND SUGGEST ON WHAT I COULD DO WITH THIS AND HOW TO APPROCH THEM, OR SHOULD I TAKE LEGAL ACTIONS AGAINST THEM? OR AM DREAMING, IT'S ALL LEGIT.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE, ALEX.

Wow this is definately not right. I would check with an attorney in your state to see what the laws are concerning this type of sale. I know here in california once it's off the lot its yours, but other states may be different. However if the modifications are your doing then you are probably stuck because these aftermarket parts can cause issues on MB vehicles.
