side mirror up/down adjustment only?

Passenger side mirror power remote works for up/down adjustment only - not left/right adjustment. Is it a electrical or mechanical problem? How to fix it?

it is a motor in the mirror assembly, removed mirror and replace motor .

This will be an electrical problem either he switch is bad or the motor inside the mirror is bad. You will need to check the mirror motors for power and ground to confirm, Here is a guide that will help
