2002 Mercedes Benz C230 Sun Roof

My car has been back to the dealer 5 times for sun roof problems. It usually jams in an open position. 4 times warranty where the drive motot and track has been replaced. An again just lately for the drive motor at a substantial cost. Is this an inherent problem with the sun roof?

No this is not a common problem and the sunroof assemblies in this model tend to be very good. What has the dealership explained to you is the reason this can't get fixed properly? Have the replaced the entire sunroof tray?
