1998 Mercedes Benz C230 screeching coming from back right w

What would cause a screeching noise coming from back right wheel area. Brakes are good, I'm told emergency brakes are good as well.

Also, intermittent grinding coming from back right wheel.

can hitting curbs bend the axle and what are the symptoms of bent axle?
