vehicle will not rev above 4,000 revs, and when 4k
revs reached starts to miss or hesitate. This veh has
recently been serviced and a new tank sendor fitted.
the car appears to have a limit of 4,000 revs

Hi David,

Most newer vehicles will no allow the RPM's to go above 4k in park or neutral. It is a safety feature.
