Engine Cooling problem
1996 Mercedes Benz C180 Front Wheel Drive Manual 150000 miles

MY CAR WAS FITTED WITH A NEW WATER PUMP.NOW IT HAS THICK WHITE SMOKE COMING OUT OF THE EXHAUST,IT CANT BE DRIVEN AS ITS THAT BAD,BUT THE ENGINE TURNS OK,CAN ITBE THE HEAD GASKET OR IS IT SOMETHING TO DO WITH THE NEW PUMP

did it smoke like this before the water pump was changed?

NO ,IT DIDNT,IT HAD A LIGHT ON IN DASHBOARD SHOWING A RADIATOR

then i would deff. look back over the pump because that sounds like that is where the problem is coming from
