hiya, i have a Mercesdes a 140 elegance, since a few weeks ago i've noticed that there is a lost of power and the car also hesitates when i press the gas pedal. Its does consumes a lot of fuel too. i have done a fuel servicing ( air filter,fuel filter,oil filter,pollen filter,oil and sparks plug) hoping to clear the problem..can u advise me the next steps ..thank you

Possibilities: Inspect and test all the following listed below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.
