My 1987 mercedes 560sel keeps running hot the fan is working, took out the thermostat, still running hot other than a cracked head what do you suggest also the vehicle is not smoking and not getting oil in the water at times it will run cool but after driving it a while it runs hot. Please help out with suggestions to what might be wrong

Could be a clogged-up radiator, defective wate pump and airlock if all good get it block and pressure tested.
