1996 Mercedes Benz 500sl Engine Check Light

My 'Engine Check light' just came on today, I have a 1996 Mercedes Benz SL500. I have about 75,400 on the car. When the car is at a stop light, the whole car seems to shake and is idling very high.

Does anyone know what this could be??

Check engine light:

Have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis,finding out what's going on.
