Rear brake lights will not work and now the BAS/ABS warning light comes on, how do you fix this?

Sounds like a failed stop lamp switch. This is located directly off the upper portion of the brake pedal assembly. It is quite easy to replace. Follow the brake pedal up and you will see a sensor with a plunger that is against the pedal, this is the stop lamp switch. It simpley turns to come out of it's mounting.
