help my alarm wont stop making noise

Interior problem
1991 Mercedes Benz 300se V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I am able to drive the car but the alarm is going off had to disconnect battery to stop it this 1991 300 se was bought used i do not have a key less remote we tried the doors but it still goes off where is the alarm located? I had to borrow a car to go to worj we just want to disconnect help

If you are able to drive the car, it is most likely an aftermarket alarm.Look under teh hood for a horn that has been added on, cut those wires first,that will keep the noise down.Most alarms are mounted under the dash, below the steering column.If you arent familiar with electronics, you can have it removed for a very small price.Otherwise get under there and remove it yourself.If the alarm is put in-line with anything, just cut the alarm out and use a solderless connector to reconnect the circuit.If it is plugged onto the wire, simply unplug it. After you unhook a part of the alarm, start the car to be sure it will still run.
