Engine Cooling problem
1980 Mercedes Benz 300sd 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Car is a good running machine usually, the last day or two engine was unresponsive to gas pedal. Loss of power when near idle, delayed response time. Would a clogged turbo cause this. The fuel filters have not been serviced for some time. Im unsure of the plugs, Just to be sure there is no fuse that could cause these systems?

Is your check engine light on? If so what codes are stored? These are symptoms of a clogged catalytic converter but if engine light is on I would suggest getting the codes first, this should pinpoint the culprit and keep from wasting money guessing at the problem.
