I bought this car very cheap and it runs pretty good. I just can't get the trunk to open to change the tail light. There is no lock in the hole. Any ideas how I might get this thing to come open. Without tearing my car completely up. The body on this car is still in very good shape and I would hate to ruin it.

I have a couple of ideas for you;
1. if there is no lock in the trunk, take a regular screwdriver, inserted into the whole, and turn it at 7(seven) o'clock to the left, then pushing in.
2. The only other access to the trunk is through the first aid compartment, but you will need a small boy to assist you with a flashlight and tell him what to do, this is what you tell him, removed the plastic access cover on the lift (that would be the driver side) side by the drunk lock, there is a rod, tell him to pull it to the left (that would be the driver side) that will unlock it, and you should gain access,
