Engine Performance problem
1996 Mercedes Benz 300e 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have inherited a MB 300E Diesel that has no fuel delivery. The owner told me a MB dealer tech said the system needs bleeding. I cannot find a manual purge pump as on the older models anywhere on the engine so I cannot refil the fuel filter. Any suggestions?

I cant find any 300d's after 93... but what I can find says there is a pump on the side of the injection pump (where the injector hoses hook to) that you use to get the air out on the 6 cyl.From what I found the 5 cyl is a self bleeding system
