I have had my Mercedes 1990 300e sense last year, it came with 120,000 or so miles and never had a problem with it up untill now with around 170,000 i put the miles on mostly on cold mountain roads driving from LI to Jersey where i snowboard.
Either way, my car runs rough when its idling, it idles around 500RPM and it kinda makes the car shake, but if i pop it into neutral (which i have to do so it doesn't stall) and keep it reved around 1000 you can barely feel the engines running at all.
When i go to accelerate from a stop (lets say at a red light) my engine will stall, but im thinking the only real problem is the seemingly low idle..
Is there any way to up the idle from 500 to between 1000 and 1500 or so
