Heater problem
1984 Mercedes Benz 300d Two Wheel Drive Automatic

how does the automatic heater works? does it work together with the a/c compresor. My a/c (cooler) works fine, but now it is cold and i can not get the warm air to work

There is a heater control valve located on the right front fender next to the radiator, check and make sure HOT water is circulating to the hoses leading to the inside of the vehicle, the heater control valve is controlled by the vacuum pump make sure your vacuum pump is properly working.
