I have been told that my c280 has 2 identical air filters. I assume they are in the plastic housing over the engine but not sure if I should remove it completely and check to see if they are there. I was wondering if the housing comes apart somewhere to gain access to the filters. Thanks for your help.

The cabin air filter is for the A/C system and is found in the fresh air intake (the box by the firewall on the passenger side of engine compartment)
