My console switch operates 2nd is the only switch operating.

1st and 3rd console switch selections dont operate.

External wiper moves in 2nd selection.

Still no information released by MB for testing! Usually turns out to be the combination switch, but since MB parts are expensive, I would have an MB mechanic check it first.
