I can not figure out how to remove the fan clutch so I can change the water pump on my car. What size bolt is that on the fan clutch?

That's because the clutch fan has reversed a threat, that means you have to hold the upper pulley and removed the fan by turning to the right not to the left as normal, the wrench you will need is approximately 27 mm, try using a crescent wrench it should not be on there very tight, use some WD-40.
