1992 Mercedes Benz 190e Sputtering after start

Our 190e sputters after you start it and as you back it out of the garage. It also has been sputtering while taking off from stop signs/lights, especially with the air conditioner on.

WHat do we need to do?

Has it ever been tuned up? At that mileage a major tune up is in order (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel and air filters)

We have only had the car about 10,000 miles. Assuming it was tuned up at 1000,000, what would be causing a problem like the one I described?

Sounds ignition related, especially since it gets worse with the a/c on. Inspect the tune up before you get too worried about other things
