Hi.

"Carmine," as my kid calls our trusty ol' Benz, has recently started making a high-pitched whirr which seems to start after I have been driving a bit. I have also noticed that when I stop the car at a light, or just before I turn him off, I can hear a sound like gurgling liquid behind the dashboard.

In general, Carmine runs fine, I get regular oil changes, fluid changes, etc...

Should I be scared, should I drop more money into this car or should I take the leap and start looking for a car that was built in the current millenium?

Thanks for taking my question. I promise, I will donate.

the gurgling noise is the heater core and nothing to worry about, can you pinpoint where the sound is coming from? open the hood when the noise is coming.
