What brand or type of struts and shocks can you recommend for "comfort" replacement? Also, when, if ever, should coil springs be replaced?

Hi there.

Thank you for the donation,

The genuine Benz strut should be perfect for your needs, as for the springs you can do a measurement from the road to the bottom of the guard and compare both sides, they should be with in a few mm of each other, springs, especially fronts don't often give much problems, with the struts removed you can also measure the free length of each spring and compare to standard factory specs.
