The gauges that show the fuel (R-1/1) the oil and temperature stopped working, then we found out that the brake lights are not working. We don't know if the two are related but would like to know how to repair. Fuses were checked and seem to be working. Don't know what the problem is.

Use atest light to verify power through fuses, 3, 10, 13. Looks like there is an engine systems control unit that the instrument and other systems go through. If fuses are all ok, it could be this unit is bad.

We checked the fuses you stated to check and they were fine. However, it was fuse #9 that controlled the gauge and brake lights.

Hmmm didnt show that fuse in my wiring diagram. Sometimes M/B are hard to deal with due to Black market (Eurpoean) Gray market (mix of USA and Eur) cars that are out there, regardless, glad you found the problem
