My passenger side automatic seat will not move forward. moves backward,up,down. It's an old car & I'll be o.k. if could just move it forward where I want it & leave it there. Is there a way to move it manually?

Only by getting access to the motor that moves it forward and disconnecting it to move it, then reinstalling motor to hold it there.I would leave that motor unplugged so it doesnt get moved back accidentally
