Idle is good at neutral but when shifted to drive idle gets rough or low idling but engine don't die. Same as on reverse, from neutral to reverse, idle gets rough. Over 35 mph , car drives normal.

Do you have a check engine light On or has flashed?

Last major tune -up and what was replaced and adjusted

Lets check the idle air control valve/speed controller device, the PCV valve, to include the throttle position sensor. One of the above is causing the problem.
