I recently bought this car, it had been stored for 6 years. When I got it home I cleaned out the fuel tank and put fresh gas in it but still idles very rough and has a tremendous amount of blowby. I did a compression test and have even numbers on 3 cylinders(about 125 psi) and one at 60. I'm hoping it just has stuck rings but don't think thats the case. Probably changing rings if not piston. I doubt oil was put in cylinders before started after storage. In your expert opinion, do you think it needs rings or can I try driving them free, also going to try Marvel Mystery oil soak to free them. Thank you

Well I would try marvel or seafoam you have nothing to loose at this point. If it don't work then you know that you will pulling the head and seeing what is happening. It could be a burnt valve too. See if the compression comes up with oil in the cylinder first if it does then let it soak if it don't then it is either a burnt valve or broken ring. Hope this helps.
