1984 Mercedes Benz 190d 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I have an 84 Mercedes Benz 190d (diesel) I find it kind of slow specially on hills, What can I do to Have more power? Can I add a turbo on that engine add another partor replace the engine by another wich other engine would fit in that car?

You cannot add a turbo due to the fact that your block does not have piston oil coolers, you can replace the injectors with Mercedes 300D or 300TD injectors, that will give it a little more power, you can also install a Mercedes 300D or 300TD it will bolt right up to the manual transmission ( I know I have done it).
