When I take off from a dead stop and gradually give it more gas the truck will begin to lurch a little. Feels like it wants to go but it struggles. I lurches for a matter of seconds but it gets annoying. It will only do this probably around 3200rpms and above in 1st through 2nd gear. My instinct tells me its the fuel pump but im not sure. I f anyone knows anything or have run into this before, let me know. Thanks

Hi there,

This is sounding like a fuel problem, I would change the fuel filter, and clean out the carby, check throttle pump action, and the fuel transition ports are clean, these ports supply the fuel in an even and proportional delivery as you open the throttle, if dirty and blocked and a faulty throttle pump you may experience this type of problem.
