My truck has an unusual problem of sometimes starting up or it takes a long time to get it started. Once I get it started it will run fine for awhile and then it will just die out and it happens even if I am on the freeway. It also tends to run on the hot side. I have replaced the fuel filter already and am wondering maybe if I should also change the fuel pump. Maybe it is another problem that I do not understand. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

Try checking the carb choke if its sticking closed-should fully open after 3 mins of warm up. Also check the fuel pressure then comeback.
