1982 Mazda Truck Won't idle

Engine Performance problem
1982 Mazda Truck 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

When I first crank my truck it idles high after it warms up I can tap the accelerator and it will idle down but when I clutch and brake to stop it will die. The idle then is to low to run. The truck runs good on the highway as long as I don't idle down.
