If the transmission fluid has never been changed, should I change it now or is it too late? Some sites says it can cause more problems if it has not been changed after alot of miles. Thanks Leslie

Hi there,

I would get the transmission flushed rather than just drop the pan, as there is a lot of oil in the torque converter that will be contaminated. A transmission shop will do this job, i would not leave the oil oil in for much longer.
