my wife car egr vallve cracked , and i bought a new one. but it still dont work like it use to . 1t start good it idle good .but it dont perform right when pressing the gas paddle, what would cause an egr valve to crack ?

i would have to see where it was cracked first? was it split? rusted? clean?
