Engine Performance problem
2001 Mazda Tribute 6 cyl Automatic

I purchased a 40R-DL Duralast Battery 3 years ago. The battery is supposed to have a life of 7 years or 84 months. I just had my Mazda Tribute serviced at a Mazda dealership and they performed a battery test.

The rating = 690 CCA (What it should be?)
12.67v 437 CCA (What it is)

At the very top of the piece of paper with the numbers is: Micro491 V1.1 (and underneath is Midtronics)

The service technician said that the battery needs to be replaced, and that he was surprised that the battery would even turn over.

I did have a problem about 2 months ago when my SUV died and the battery wouldn't turn over. The problem was diagnosed as a bad fuel pump. I haven't had any problems with the SUV starting since then. (With regard to the weather, I live in Ohio.)
