my radiator light comes on. i had it checked and i was told the radiator is ok. could it be a bad sensor? how can i check it and replace it?

My locator is very vague on that parts location (Coolant level switch) It looks like it may be in either the radiator or the fill bottle.Either way if it is reading low coolant the switch is most likely bad.They get hot and cold, then stop working, happens frequently on vehicles equipped with this system.You can try unplugging it (gray connector) to se if the light goes out, but i suggest fixing it so you will know if the coolant is actually low
