Engine Performance problem
2004 Mazda RX8 Two Wheel Drive Manual 53,000 miles

so I have an rx8 with a rotary engine. Lately the car feels like it losses power every time I go up a hill on a freeway. And it seams the car takes about 3 or 4 sec to turn on. Any one know why? Just bought the car from mazda as well.

Upgrade your starter to a high performance one, and do a compression test on the engine to make sure your apex seals are ok,

MAZDA has extended there warranty on the rotary to 160.000km.
