1988 Mazda RX7 Two Wheel Drive Manual 100000 miles

I am restoring this rotary classic and have into some trouble with the emissions. There is a three way check valve located near the gas tank. On end goes into the tank, another to the charcoal canister and the third into the undercarriage of the car. The part that goes into the undercarriage has snapped as the plastic is so old. Is this an important hookup or can it be replaced?

That hose goes nowhere. There is literally a plug in the rail of t he frame and a plastic plug that the hose connects to.
