Engine Cooling problem
1987 Mazda RX7 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Well i drive my car around and the temperature gauge seems fine but after awhile maybe 30-20 mins or so it starts climbing its way up there. So i stop and park somewhere and look around the engine bay, and i find that my Overflow Reservoir is bubbling (top full), and iit never seems to make its way back to the radiator. What is wrong with my cooling system? i changed the pressure cap. One from Mazda and changed the water pump, thermostat and rad hoses. Thanks a lot if ever answered!

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

Make sure that the cooling fans are coming on and have the radiator cleaned & flow tested, make sure that there is good air flow through the A/C condenser as if this is clogged with muck it will impinge on the cooling system, pressure test the cooling system and check for any minor external leaks, and re check that the new radiator cap is actually working as it should, start here.
