1986 Mazda RX7 wont go past 3500 rpms

hey i recently started having a problem with my car once i hit 3500 rpms it starts to stutter but hardly go =es up past that but when im in nuetral i can rev it to redline and if i really ease into the gas it will go past with no hesitation

Check fuel pressure also check spark should be a blue/white spark
