FRONT DISC BRAKE PADS
Removal
1. Raise and support the front of vehicle. Remove front wheels. On RX7 and 323 models, remove
lower caliper lock pin bolt and pivot caliper body up out of way.
2. On 626 models, remove lock pin bolts. Remove caliper and hang from frame with wire. Do not
disconnect brake hose. On all models, remove anti-rattle springs (clips), pads, and shims (if
equipped).
Installation
1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Before mounting caliper, push piston inward using the
Expansion Tool (49 0221 600C).
2. After pad installation, depress brake pedal several times to seat pads. Bleed hydraulic system (if
required).
