Ticking sound

Everytime I make a right turn in my 1994 Maza Protege' 2 wheel drive vehicle, I'm hearing a loud ticking sound. I'm pretty sure the boot is busted. My question is what is the average cost to get this fixed?

An axle ea. New about $276.00, labor 2.2 not including alignment.
